DESIGNER SPOTLIGHT: Jibri by Jasmine Elder

Posted by Robyn Burnaford on

Upon discovering the line JIBRI by Jasmine Elder when curating our Diversity in Design Style Board series, we were immediately head over heels with the sheer amount of SPARKLE we saw in the designs.  Sequins, metallics and anything and everything shiny will always be something near to our hearts, and when we learned more about the line's founder and designer, Jasmine Elder, we were officially starry-eyed, obsessed fans! Before founding Sacai, Chitose worked at Comme de Garcons as a pattern cutter and as a member of Junya Watanbe's design team.  Afterwards, she became a mom and now, as the head of Sacai, she bases her collections "...purely on my creative instincts.  Maybe I’m an idealist, but I am a...

Nestled in a quiet but accessible spot in Albany, California on one of our favorite streets, Solano Avenue {home to our original design studio!}, Flowerland is our go-to...
